EnergyISO, Inc. offers a variety of services to meet your energy needs. EnergyISO can provide energy surveys, energy management program establishment, training, and project management.
Energy Surveys
Our largest requested service is our energy surveys. Our surveys are based on 30 years of experience performing energy surveys in manufacturing facilities. The surveys include a comprehensive evaluation of all of the major energy users in your facility and also an evaluation of the water use. The goal of the survey is to identify those areas for improvement to reduce the overall energy bill. Systems evaluated include: Steam generation and distribution, compressed air generation and distribution, motor management, lighting, HVAC, process equipment, and water systems.
The results of the surveys are delivered in a final report, which includes all of the calculations for the estimated savings. Providing the calculations, takes the guess work out of trying to figure out the root of the savings and it allows for opportunities to be evaluated at a later date. At a later date, the return on investment could improve due to increased energy costs.
The results of the surveys are presented as three types of opportunities:
Primary opportunities are those opportunities that require little or NO capital investment. These are opportunities that can be implemented by your own internal staff.
Secondary opportunities are those opportunities that require some capital investment but can still be implemented by your own staff.
Tertiary Opportunities are those opportunities that require significant capital investment and expert personnel to implement.
60% of the opportunities identified by EnergyISO are primary opportunities requiring no capital investment.
The EnergyISO Guarantee: If the energy survey does not identify savings at least equal to cost of the survey than the survey is FREE.
Energy Management Program Establishment
The only way to truly manage and minimize your energy use is through the establishment of an energy management program. EnergyISO will help you develop the proper tracking methods to ensure a complete understanding of the facilities energy use and users. Utilizing this data, EnergyISO will help you establish programs to minimize the use and identify opportunities for improvement. Proper project management tools will be introduced in order to ensure that reduction projects are implemented effectively and in a timely manner. As part of the program establishment all individuals in the facility will be trained on proper energy management for their role in the organization. Operators will receive training appropriate for them and managers and engineers will receive a more detailed and thorough training.
Training
Our instructor is a Certified Energy Manager as accredited by the Association of Energy Engineers. To achieve this accreditation the individual must have an engineering degree and at least three years of energy management experience. Also, they must pass a written examination to confirm competence in a wide range of energy topics.
The training is tailored to your specific needs. Courses can be provided on specific topics or can cover a range of selected topics. The training is specifically tailored to the requested audience. General training with specific application to operator’s jobs can be performed or intense technical training to management and engineering staff can be provided.
Project Management
EnergyISO can evaluate energy related projects for clients wishing to have an expert involved to ensure the project will reach the desired outcome and is feasible for the process. EnergyISO is NOT affiliated with any equipment manufacturers or other energy service providers so we can ensure an impartial evaluation for our clients.
